What I do

Senior leadership, without the full-time overhead.

01

Fractional COO & Operations

I run the operating layer so founders and CEOs can focus on the vision. Content ops, production pipelines, VFX and post workflows, team structure, vendor management, distribution strategy — I've built these from scratch and inherited them in chaos.

02

AI Strategy & Integration

I help media and entertainment companies figure out where AI creates real leverage — and build the roadmap to get there. I've led AI-integrated production pipelines, managed AI vendor relationships, and advised C-suites on adoption strategy and go-to-market execution.

03

Content, Platform & GTM Strategy

From acquisition to distribution, I've operated across every window — SVOD, AVOD, TVOD, broadcast, theatrical. I know how content businesses make money and what it takes to build the infrastructure to scale.

About

25 years at the edge of what's possible.

Sharon has spent 25 years building content businesses at the edge of what's possible. At MarVista Entertainment, she owned a $70M+ P&L and scaled production to hundreds of films — building VFX and post production pipelines from the ground up and servicing international distribution deals worldwide, positioning the company for acquisition by Fox Entertainment. At Mindshow, she rebuilt an AI animation studio from scratch, leading the technology and product teams to deliver a go-to-market SaaS platform that drove 250% year-over-year production growth with clients including Netflix, Mattel, and ESPN. She has raised venture capital, managed boards, and led creative, operations, and technology teams — often simultaneously, always under pressure.

Before that, Sharon spent years as a development and production executive at HBO, A&E, and Lifetime — shaping and championing projects from script to screen. Her executive credits include UnREAL, YOU (90+ countries, 100M+ viewing hours), Mary Kills People, and A Deadly Adoption. She understands the work from the inside — what it takes to get a project made, what's lost when the creative and operational sides don't speak the same language.

Through HearstLab, Sharon has worked directly with startup founders — supporting early-stage companies in building their businesses, go-to-market strategies, and operational foundations. She has also served as an Entrepreneur in Residence advising B2B platforms on product strategy, team structure, and scaling.

Sharon founded JED Works Global to work fractionally — by design. She is also available for keynotes, panel moderation, and industry speaking engagements.

Let's talk.

If you're building something at the intersection of content, technology, or operations — and you need senior leadership without the full-time commitment — I'd love to hear about it.
